Parties & Events

Am I able to cancel my party reservation? 

Party cancellations are refundable (minus a $100 non-refundable deposit) up to 30 days prior to your event. We are unable to refund party cancellations within 30 days of your event. Please email celebrate@communityarts.org if you would like to cancel your party.

What happens if my child is sick on the day of their party? 

Please provide us with at least 24 hours notice if your child becomes sick before their party. We will allow a one-time courtesy rescheduling due to illness. 

Can I change the date of my party? 

We allow a one-time courtesy date change at no charge up to 30 days prior to your party. We cannot accommodate date changes within 30 days of your event.  

Can you accommodate more than 15 children?

At this time, we can only accommodate up to 15 children for each party. Children must be at least 5 years old to participate in our Painting Parties and Ceramic Parties. 

Siblings 18 months and older should be included in your guest count for our Art & Play Parties. 

Are parents allowed to attend parties as guests with their child?

Parents are required to attend Art & Play Parties with their child. 

Parents are welcome to attend Painting Parties and Ceramic Parties. Up to 2 adults are allowed in the art room during the art instruction time due to space limitations. 

Party hosts will be responsible for all guests and must remain on site throughout the party. 

Is there a maximum number of guests that can attend parties?

The maximum capacity for all guests (including party hosts, adult guests, participating children, and siblings) is no more than 45 individuals. 

What is a party poster?

We will provide a personalized party poster for the party guest of honor. As guests arrive, they will have the opportunity to help color the poster before jumping into their art activities. The party guest of honor will get to take this home with them at the end of the party. 

Do you provide tables and chairs for parties? 

Yes, our space includes tables and chairs (for children). Please see our party details for more information on tables and chairs provided.

Do you provide decorations for parties? 

We do not provide decorations. Party hosts are welcome to bring their own decorations. Please see our party agreements for more information on decorations. 

Do you provide food and drinks for parties? 

We do not provide food or drinks. Party hosts are welcome to bring their own food, drinks, and treats. Please see our party agreements for more information on food and drinks. 

Is there time for opening gifts? 

We do not have time in the party itinerary to open gifts on site. We will have a space where guests can leave gifts when they arrive. Our Party Captain will help to bring gifts to your car at the end of your event. 

Do you provide goody bags for participants?

We do not provide goody bags for participants. Participants will be able to take home their art activities at the end of the party. Party hosts are welcome to bring goody bags for their guests.

Do you allow alcohol at birthday parties? 

We do not allow alcohol to be served at youth birthday parties.
