Camper Expectations & Camp Etiquette
In our art studios, we expect campers to promise to always be an ARTIST:
Attitude: Have a positive “I can do it” attitude!
Respect: Respect ideas, feelings, things, and people!
Try: Try your best!
Imagination: Show your creativity and make unique art!
Safety: Make good choices and raise your hand.
Target: Stay on task and use your time wisely.
Behaviors that are not accepted at Camp Community Arts are:
- Bullying, harassment, intimidation and physical aggression
- Refusing to follow behavior guidelines or camp rules.
- Using profanity, vulgarity, or obscenity Stealing or damaging property (personal or camp property)
- Refusal to participate in activities, cooperate with staff or comply with requests.
- Disrupting a program Leaving a program without permission
- Endangering the health and safety of children or staff
- Teasing, making fun of, or bullying other campers or staff
Failure to follow the outlined behavior contract will result in an unsafe environment for you, other campers, and staff. Depending on the severity and/or frequency of violations of this behavior contract, the following consequences may occur:
- Verbal warning from a staff member
- Written warning and conversation with guardian
- Sent home immediately for the day
- Day suspension from camp
- Dismissal from camp
