Mark your calendars! Creativity is all around our community this season!
Kick off your holiday shopping at Bedford Gallery’s beloved Craft Fest, then warm up with chili and handmade bowls at our Chili Bowl Fundraiser. Don’t miss Center for Community Arts' Handcrafted Holiday Sale, featuring local artists and a special kids’ shopping area. And of course, join us for the premiere of A Christmas Carol—a heartfelt, visually stunning, all-new production of Dickens’ timeless tale. Learn more about all of these upcoming events below!
Craft Fest @ the Bedford Gallery
Saturday, November 22 (10am - 5pm)
Join us at the Bedford Gallery to celebrate independent makers and shop their creative wares! Now in its 16th year, the cheerful, bustling marketplace continues to delight visitors with the finest handmade jewelry, ceramics, beauty + wellness, home goods, artisanal foods, clothing, toys, and more. Treat yourself with a variety of unique goods and kickstart your holiday shopping. Craft Fest admission is always FREE to the public.
Chili Bowl Fundraiser
Saturday, November 22 (11am - 2pm)
After Craft Fest, walk over to Civic Park's Assembly Hall for a warm bowl of chili and select a unique handcrafted bowl to bring home! 100% of your support will benefit student art scholarships in partnership with Community Arts and the Clay Arts Guild . We'll have over 200 handmade bowls to choose from. In addition, Clay Arts Guild members will host a ceramic pop-up at this event.
Handcrafted Holiday Sale
December 6 & 7 (10am - 4pm)
Join us for our annual Handcrafted Holiday Sale at Shadelands Art Center! Shop local artwork from over 50+ student artists and teaching artists. This year's sale will include two room of handcrafted shopping plus a special kids shopping area where children can shop for their grown-ups! A portion of the proceeds from this event benefit Center for Community Arts, the Clay Arts Guild, and the Community Arts Foundation.
A Christmas Carol
December 10-21
Center REP’s all-new A Christmas Carol is a heartfelt, visually stunning reimagining of the holiday classic. Written by Harrison David Rivers and directed by Jared Mezzocchi (FROGGY), this dazzling production blends Victorian charm with cutting-edge digital design. Join us for the Bay Area’s grandest telling of Dickens’ timeless tale - and don’t miss the Pay What You Can performance on Wednesday, December 10!
