Perhaps you have fond memories of attending summer camps, vacations and classes back in the day.
But not all children have these opportunities. Too many children from low-income families fall behind each summer. That’s why we’re asking you to help us send a kid (or two) to Camp Community Arts! Click here to make a donation that will create lasting summer memories and help close the gap for summer learning loss.
Why Camp Community Arts?
See for yourself how we help young people create, build relationships, and express themselves!
Camp Community Arts offers creativity and adventure for students ages 5-14. Every day is full of activities -- a child might start their morning with stop motion animation or ceramics, spend the afternoon swimming, and end the day with African drumming and dancing.
Camp Community Arts opens doors for dozens of young people each year. Give today to make camp a possibility for even more children this year.
Help us Meet the Need!
In Contra Costa County, 11% of residents live below the federal poverty level. 32% of them are children. Many families in our community can’t afford opportunities like summer camp. Studies have shown that summer learning loss hits low-income families hard. Camp Community Arts provides arts experiences for all children in our community that promote exploration and creativity.
Help us make summer camp a reality- click here to send a child to camp today. This is an opportunity to give young people in our community a life-changing, creative summer experience!
