Have you ever had an idea for a ring you’d love to make, wanted to learn how to set a stone, or needed studio space to work on a jewelry project? You’ll find classes, workshops, and a supportive community to help you explore jewelry making for the first time, deepen your skills, or take your jewelry artistry to the next level. Each student receives personalized attention from experienced instructors in an intimate class setting.
Classes like Jewelry Fabrication cover basic techniques (e.g. sawing, soldering, finishing and basic stone setting) so you can design and make your own silver, copper, and brass jewelry. Weekend and one-day workshops like Party Earrings are a fun way to express your creativity and relax, while workshops such as Stone Setting Techniques with Metal Clay will broaden your skills.
Open Studio Jewelry gives you the time, space and tools you need to work independently on jewelry or metalsmithing projects. It is available to current jewelry students as well as experienced jewelers who have taken Civic Arts Education jewelry classes in the past.
